Hm, it seems I have totally forgotten about xanga, or rather totally ignored it and didn't care.  Senior year is always so busy.  College apps, SAT (for the late ones like me), homework...life's hard, but as they say, it only gets harder from here (makes me wonder what I'm working so hard for).  Anyways, I don't have much to say.  November break is coming soon, will probably be going back to Beijing.  Can't wait!  Finally a break longer than four days!  But it's too bad I won't be able to go to Vancouver until summer.  Oh well, SAT 2s tomorrow.  Wish me all the best of luck! (wishing myself luck...sounds kinda desperate...well, I probably am anyways)

It's been over a month since I've updated.  I'm in Vancouver now, enjoying the wonderful azure skies and the unadulterated fresh air, unlike SAT camp one month ago.  Unfortunately, this will be a short update since I have no pictures and am still extremely busy.  School starts September 11th.

So, I have finally stopped slacking and have entered a state of intense studying.  In other words, I'm at nerd camp, one that further increases your SAT ability.  The main reason I am here is to write masterful essays because I heard that the teacher is amazing in essays.  I'll be here for the next 40 days (except for Sundays, where I get to go home).  Unfortunately, there are pros and cons.  The pro is that I won't be wasting my time playing games at home, instead, I will be diligently learning.  The con is that I will not be able to go back to Canada until the end of August, therefore missing SYC and all (sorry, Sam).  Also, I won't be able to intern at the film studio I wanted to.  Oh well, it's all for the greater good, supposedly.

It's July already.  One month of Summer Vacation has already ended.  Time sure flies.  Anyways, just got back from studying wushu in Xian two days ago and it's nice to be back where there is air conditioning and food that I can eat without sweating (non-spicy food).  Well, due to lack of pictures on here, here are some from my two week stay in Xian.

PICT0030
On the first night, the Wushu School's Headmaster, Zhao Chang Jun, invited my mom, brother, and I to big dinner.  (He's the one sitting on the right of me in the white shirt)  The best part is that Zhao Yuan Zhang (Zhao Headmaster, the more formal name that we use with him) coached us personally during a lot of practices throughout the week.

A group of Americans from Arizona who were staying at the school.

PICT0033
The Americans, the Headmaster, and us.

PICT0035
The Americans, the headmaster and his wife, my mom, and us.

PICT0048
Xian's most famous for its Terracotta Warriors, and here we are.

PICT0058
Individual pieces of the Terracotta that are currently being worked on.

PICT0059
Now a picture without my brother.

PICT0064
The man who found the first head that lead to the Terracotta Warriors.  He signed informtion books on the Terracotta Warriors that we bought there.  The books are now worth money.

PICT0065
Family picture outside the building where the Terracotta warriors are kept.

PICT0067
Tang Seng from Monkey King designed that temple in the background.

PICT0069
My shirt after a day of practice.

PICT0076
Because we got to know the coaches there really well, they took us out of the school to see Xian. (They weren't only female coaches.  It just so happened that the only picture we had with the coaches was with two female ones.)

PICT0079
A snapshot during practice.

That's about it.  I didn't go on as much of a photo rampage as I thought I would have.  Oh well.  I wish I got some more photos of practice.  Going to Xian was awesome, a definite good decision, which means I will be going back again next year and continue the Summer Wushu Legacy (Michael finally quit) next year.

I do not know what to say when I do not update for a month.  I think it's because I didn't have the photos that I wanted to post for my previous post.  And I was also very busy this past month with exams and coming home and meeting/hanging out with old friends.  Oh well.  Anyways, I am here to update the fact that I won't be updating my Xanga for another two weeks because I will be in Xian studying martial arts.  If you want to see what it looks like, I'll be studying here (http://www.zhaochangjun.com/) because my mom knows the master there (Master=Zhao Chang Jun).  Anyways, I'm tired, it's late in the night, and I have to wake up at 5:45 tomorrow morning.
